Abu Simbel

In a bus to Abu Simbel. I would be totally excited except I have to go pee really bad. Our driver is a jerk and I don't want to ask him to pull over. Woke up at 3:30am to beat the heat on the 3 hour bus trip.

Ok, finally couldn't stand it anymore and asked him to pull over. Sat in the desert and tried to pee for 7 minutes. Too many people watching and the driver kept honking so I was too nervous too pee ! :{ Had to get back in the bus and was hating life for the rest of the hour trip. :{

Getting irritated at all the tourists who wear shorts and tank tops.. anyone reading anything about traveling to Egypt will read somewhere that it is considered disrespectful to expose that much flesh. Maybe it's like wearing a bikini to a business meeting ? But perhaps I am just hot and grumpy that I'm not wearing less clothing. :|

Abu Simbel was totally amazing.. beyond words. I tried to imagine how the artists carved and painted the rocks.. what methods and tool they used.
