I am an American-Jewish artist currently living and working in the West Bank as an illustrator, art teacher and human rights worker. My recent work reflects life in occupied Palestine. I graduated from the Academy of Art University in San Francisco, in 2000 where my area of focus was traditional and digital illustration with a strong foundation in classical realism. A variety of tools are used when creating the illustrations you see on this site, ranging from acrylic paint to pen and ink, and digital tools such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign and Corel Painter.

As an illustrator, I aspire to provide my clients with a timeless and unique product of the combined venture between artistic tools, subject matter and my own inspiration. Projects are a collaborative effort between my clients and myself, as the best results are produced when a variety of perspectives are brought together.

When asked about the source of my artistic creation, I credit it to my interest in people, travel, architecture, natural history, anatomy, and the martial arts. In addition, my stylistic characteristics are credited to the diverse influences of chiaroscuro techniques of the Renaissance masters, the graceful lines of the Art Nouveau movement, the minimalism and patterns of Asian art, ancient Egyptian art, and the calligraphy and geometry of Islamic artists.
